The Daintree climate is truly tropical with the weather during the Dry Season, roughly May to October, offering warm days and cooler nights with low humidity. The dry season tends to be the most popular season for travel.
December to March is generally the Wet Season releasing torrential rain and hotter days and nights with some sun. These months are not as crowded but offer a very lush and free environment with creeks and waterfalls running at capacity. This rain is soothing and centering to the soul, a great opportunity to really disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax, read a book…and soak up what helps keep our World Heritage Rainforest so pristine.
The Lodge is closed for February and half of March.
