Rainforest Rescue

To help protect and restore the Daintree Rainforest for generations to come, we are proud to partner with Rainforest Rescue and the Intrepid Foundation.

Rainforest Rescue has planted over 350,000 trees to restore Australian rainforest. They now protect 45 rainforest properties, including 32 that are protected forever through Nature Refuge Conservation Agreements. These properties create important wildlife corridors that connect habitat with the adjacent National Parks, allowing wildlife to move freely.

Donations made through the Intrepid Foundation directly support Rainforest Rescue efforts to restore and protect previously cleared areas of Daintree Lowland Rainforest, as well as enabling the growth of their vital native plant nursery.

Since 1999, Rainforest Rescue has been protecting the under-protected rainforest. The Australian not-for-profit organisation does this with ethical, sustainable and respectful on-the-ground conservation and restoration work. Projects include planting and maintenance programs, as well as purchasing high conservation value rainforest that’s essential to our planet’s health.

Help the rainforest thrive

With your support, Rainforest Rescue can buy the practical items required for their nursery to deliver a tree-planting capacity of 150,000 trees a year. Your support also enables the purchase of more rainforest blocks for conservation and protecting biodiversity. Additionally, replanting rainforest and re-establishing habitat for plants and animals endemic to that specific ecosystem.
